About the Barn

Pump Hill Barn is about 200 years old and was originally an old stable block. It has been tastefully renovated and is full of character, with original beams and arrow slit windows.  There is wooden flooring and underfloor heating in the bedrooms, living room and kitchen, making the space warm and cosy.  The cottage has a lovely garden with a lawn bordered by flowering beds. It is the ideal setting in which to relax and unwind. 

There is off-street parking for one car and roadside parking nearby.  We welcome one well-behaved dog. Please note that smoking or vaping is not permitted.

The accommodation is over three floors.  There is also a room with laundry facilities  and a small freezer in the basement.

Ground Floor

• Small but well-equipped fitted kitchen including dishwasher, range cooker, fridge and microwave.

• Galleried landing which could accommodate one or two extra guests on air beds if required (please see the Prices page for charges).

• Shelves with a selection of books for adults and children.

Lower Ground Floor

• Laundry room with washing machine, dryer, portable outdoor rotary dryer and overhead wooden dryer.

Accessibility

Please note that Pump Hill Barn is not suitable for wheelchair users and those with limited mobility.  The cottage has a narrow staircase and the accommodation is on three levels. There is also a laundry room in the basement.
